The so-called Tech Debt is a myth. I believe it does not exist. Here is why.
The primary issue with this term is that it creates an impression that a team owes something to someone. It states that the team must pay the bill. Simple example — infrastructure automation had been sacrificed to fit the deadline/budget and now a bunch of effort is wasted daily to resolve cross-environment inconsistencies. The story sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
