SQL Server 2014 will retire this year, as its extended support finishes on July 9th 2024. That’s quite a big deal for many companies that still live with this version of the Microsoft database. Thus, I want to share the action plan. Please note that you may apply it to other out-of-date versions too.

It is evident that the ideal outcome would be to leave SQL Server 2014. Not by all means…
